So, I have had this mouse in my apartment for over two months now...and he is impossible to get rid of. I can honestly say that for the first month, I was lax about setting out traps, I wanted to be humane and get rid of it some other way (also impossible).
After numerous nights watching him run back and forth, from the radiator, behind the fridge to under the kitchen counter, the sympathy ran thin. Last night was the last straw, he ran into the bathroom whilst I was doing my business and hid right behind me and the toilet. Not cool, I managed to scare him out of there and he ran to god knows where.
I can honestly say that I was a bit on the buzzed side, and feeling slightly MacGyver-ish. So I block all his favorite pathways except for one, and set the traps there. Hell, I even put a sign up (for the lady - "watch your toes!").
I went to sleep with thought of ridding myself of this pest, and woke up disappointed.
Why won't you just die?!
ps: if you think I am inhumane...The lady wanted to use glue
traps, I refused, citing the fact the the mouse usually just bites his limbs off
to make an escape...THAT'S inhumane. I am being more than kind
by offering instant death.
