Post Four: Zemeckis joins Disney?

I have gotten the news, which I hope is true, that Robert Zemeckis and his production company ImageMovers might be signing up with Disney.

For those of you not familiar with the name, Zemeckis is the director of some great stuff: Back To The Future (part1, 2, and 3), Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Forrest Gump, Cast Away, Polar Express, and most recently Monster House.

He has always been well known for his great use of special effects, and most recently for his pioneering in the art of motion capture. The latter is what I am sure Disney is targeting in this acquisition.

What a great partnership that would be (more so, for Disney). Read more here.

(mouse) UPDATE:

The trap I set yesterday, worked...But not well enough. I was standing, putting a DVD in, when the sudden I hear POP, and SQUEAL! Two of the four traps were set of, and I (unfortunately) believe that the mouse was injured and managed to escape, rather than be killed instantly. I feel like scum now.
