Post Fifty One - Platy Edition

Oh boy, it's that time of the year again, Platinum Edition time.

This time of course, is the Little Mermaid, not my fav when I was a kid, but a movie I have grown to appreciate for its bringing back of the traditional feeling of Disney movies in the late eighties. A Disney renaissance of sorts. Before that time, the studio was so in debt animation wise, that they were thinking of shutting down the animation studio in general.

Following in the tradition of the previous Platinum Editions (Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King, Bambi, Cinderella, Lady and The Tramp), the Dvd's are fully digitally remastered in video and sound to the highest of quality, and the bonus features are of course plentiful.

Next one of the batch is Peter Pan, coming out March 6th, 2007.
