Post Twenty Two: Invincible

Invincible was AWESOME. It was much better than I expected, and followed in the tradition of Miracle in being a great Disney-fide sports flick.

The story is about the Philadelphia Eagles of the mid-70's, and one particular fan from Philly, whom got his chance to play for the team that he, his neighbors, and friends grew up watching.

Philadelphia was very well recreated, and sent back in time 30 years. Veterans Stadium actually looked clean, and all the views of it in the picture are stunning. It makes me wish I had actually seen a game there. There is a shot of pre-big building Philly for one second in the movie, and City Hall is seen as being the dominant building in the skyline of course.

The cast was great, most notably was Mark Wahlberg. Elizabeth Banks, was as she always is, not only stunning, very well acted in her role as the love interest. Greg Kinnear as Dick Vermeil is brilliant also.

I would recommend anyone who has any interest in Football, or sports in general, going to see this one.
