Wow, I think I have a new favorite hang out ever: The South Philly Tap Room. Amazing joint, with probably the best beer selection I have ever seen. I had many a drink last night, and as in tradition of my try new beers, I write about it:
Victory Hop Devil: Like the other Victory (Prima Pils) I have had, I loved this one. The taste is so strong and hoppy, but downright delicious.
Sea Dogs Blue Paw Wheat Ale: From Maine, We tried this one on a whim, and it was a blueberry flavored ale. Not my fav by far, but the taste was to say the least, interesting. The smell of it was overpowering almost.
then of course a Boddingtons...but I have already covered that one.
Anchor Steam: From San Fran, was an interesting lager of sorts. I don't really have much to say about it honestly.
and last but certainly not least was
Duvel: from Belgium. A strong golden ale, served in a Burgundy glass type cup, it is almost champagne like. It is complex and has a lot of depth in taste, and to top it off, it is fairly strong alcohol wise for a beer (8.5%). It was a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.
My favorite tonight: Duvel.

ps: I find out if I got the place tomorrow, I was first in line this morning. The guy behind me wanted to kill me I believe. But either way, everyone keep praying.
