Post Twenty Nine - Ace.

Holy Testicle Tuesday - The Ace three pack has finally been released and I of course, picked it up the second it did. I actually rode my bike through the pouring rain just to get my hands on it.

Pet Detective: The digital transfer is outstanding and it is like watching a completely different movie. My only problem with the movie, is that it is the theatrical release and one of my favorite scenes is left out. The scene of course, is where Ace is in the in the dolphin tank and pretends to be the trainer, using a very deep german accent. Over-all, this dvd alone is worth the 13 bucks I spent on the 3 disc set.

When Nature Calls: Again, amazing transfer, and great commentary, outside of that, the disc is pretty much feature-less.

The Animated Series: I don't really remember watching this as a kid, but seeing them again did not bring back any fond memories. The show is pretty annoying, and very poorly computer animated. The guy who does Ace's voice is awful, and the show is pretty much just a showcase for repeating all of the famous catchlines and phrases from the movies.

If you love comedy or any of the Ace movies, spend the 13 bucks. It is well worth it.
