Post Twenty Eight - Game On(e)

I met a guy at the bar a week back or so and he was Scottish, so I asked if he was a soccer fan, and of course, being from the Isle, his answer was yes. He went on to tell me that he and a bunch of guys get together for a game of soccer every sunday, and that I should join in. So of course, I did. I love playing soccer and god knows I would never pass up a fully organized game.
I got there, and all the guys were cool, and we ended up playing a group of Korean guys, and some UPenn kids.

To make a long story short, we got our ass kicked, and I was probably the worst player on the field. I made an ass of myself a few times, rolling over the ball, missing passes and slipping on the muddy field. I did however manage to almost score a header into the goal, which by far would have made my day.

But it was downright one of the funniest times I have ever had with random people, and I lasted for the whole length of the game, 100 minutes. So yeah, I am sure I will be a regular, and no one will want me on their team. Can't say I blame them!
